Dynamic balancing machine is a device that many mechanical manufacturers use, so it is necessary to understand the precautions when operating it.

1. Before operation, it is necessary to perform cleaning work, especially on the rotor shaft neck, rollers, universal joints, and connections. When installing the rotor, it is important to avoid collision between the rotor and rollers. After installing the rotor, add a small amount of clean oil to the shaft neck and rollers. It is strictly prohibited to drive the rotor without connecting it to the universal joint.

2. The size of the universal joint should be matched with the joint, and the processing of the joint should be prepared according to the specific situation of the workpiece. Its shape should be symmetrical, and the weight should be light if the strength permits. The inner and outer circles of each gear should be concentric, and the fitting accuracy with the workpiece should be H6/h6. The fitting accuracy with the concave hole at the joint with the universal joint should also be H6/h6, and the concentricity should be ensured. The end face should be vertical to avoid affecting the accuracy.

3. Adjust the distance between the two swing frames and tighten them to accommodate the distance between the bearings at both ends of the rotor. Refer to the scale on the roller frame for the shaft neck size of the rotor, adjust the height of the roller frame, and tighten it.

4. Connect the workpiece to the universal joint and secure it tightly, and tighten the stroke adjustment screw of the universal joint to prevent axial movement of the workpiece.

5. The speed selection can be determined based on the weight of the workpiece, initial unbalance, and the drag power of the rotor. If the rotor weight is below 160 kilograms, high speed can be used; Over 160 kilograms can be used at low speed. If the initial unbalance of the rotor is too large and even affects its jumping on the supporting bearings, static balancing should be done first, and then low-speed calibration should be carried out. Some rotors, although not heavy, have a large outer diameter or have wind blades that affect the drag power, also need low-speed calibration.

6. After the motor is powered on, the "start" button indicator light will turn on, indicating that the machine has been powered on. If the universal joint is connected to the rotor, the limit switch SA1 has been closed, and the speed change switch on the right side of the front of the car has been set to high or low speed, press the "start" button at this time, and the motor can drag the rotor to rotate. When parking, you can press the "stop" button or directly press the brake lever on the right side of the front of the car to disconnect the limit switch SA2, cut off the power supply to the motor, and the lever will automatically reset after braking, connecting the circuit for the next drive (otherwise it cannot be restarted).

7. Improvement of measurement sensitivity - for large diameter lightweight rotors, the sensitivity obtained by conventional adjustments during low-speed balancing may not achieve the high accuracy that can be obtained. In this case, it is best to use a fictitious value of one fraction of the real radius to replace the actual size of the radius. At this time, the reduction in radius is a multiple of the increase in reading value (for example, when the fictitious value radius is halved, the reading value should be doubled).

8. After completing all the preparations before starting, you can press the start and stop buttons (slow start) to check the axial movement of the workpiece, adjust the height of the left and right swing frames to ensure that there is no axial movement of the workpiece. Especially for larger workpieces, be careful to adjust the axial force to the minimum so that the limit bracket can support it.
