When the rotor rotates around its axis, the centrifugal force is caused by uneven mass distribution relative to the axis. This kind of unbalanced centrifugal force will cause vibration on the rotor bearing, cause noise and accelerate bearing wear, which will seriously endanger the performance and service life of the product. Therefore, it is necessary to use the dynamic balancer to correct the dynamic balance of the rotor.

Dynamic balancing machine is a testing instrument to detect the imbalance amount and position of rotating workpiece (rotor). What ways can mechanical balance be corrected by means of dynamic balancing machine? Huakezhi Creative Balancer Technician shares the following three methods for you.

1. Weight removal: In practical application, it often needs several tests and corrections to make the residual imbalance reach the standard. Based on the technical standard of weight removal by drilling, it is not usually the way to drill a hole, but to select several parts to drill for weight removal from the allocated holes of the part, and achieve the effect of balance correction according to vector synthesis.

2. Weight component: In order to facilitate the installation of weights, it is necessary to drill several uniform screw holes on the balanced rotor first. According to the number of holes drilled by the balanced rotor, there are usually three-point and four-point weighting methods. Generally speaking, the position is optional, but our correction work is carried out after the dynamic balance detection, so the position of the dynamic balance detection phase sensor is usually selected. Balance weight component method is mostly used for one-sided and low-speed dynamic balancing. It has a large number of start-ups and stops, but it can detect without phase detector and has low cost of detection system.

3. Additional dynamic balancing disc: For rotors requiring imbalance correction frequently, such as grinder grinding wheel rotor, it is recommended to install a balancing disc on the rotor before balancing. A trapezoidal groove is machined on the balancing disc to fit the additional balancing weight.

The size of the balance plate should be designed according to the structure of different rotors. For different rotors, the structure of the balance plate is quite different. When balancing a rotor with the balancing disc method, only the starting position of the balancing weight on the balancing disc is known. After the unbalanced weight is picked up, the position of the balancing weight when the rotor is balanced is obtained by calculation, and the balancing weight can be moved to the corresponding position, so that the rotor can be balanced accurately. This method is easy to operate and has ideal effect, and is suitable for wide application.
